Oh No! Paul, if I can learn to drive a stick in the middle of the night, you can learn to ride a bike in Thailand.

I think I can I think I can...

We found ourselves in Lisbon with a rented car on reservation. Duh! It is a manual transmission. Automatics are... well... I guess they are against the law or something.

So on a dark night, at a busy airport and a highway going north into the countryside of a foreign land...

I tried to visualise in my mind how the whole thing was suposed to work and I just , well, learned.

Alas Poor Renault Clio, your cluch must bear the painful marks of sacrifice on its worn and worried, um , clutch.
